Why It's Okay to be Against Heresy: A Commentary by Fr. Barron

The title of this commentary by Fr. Barron is a bit misleading.  It really has more to do with why we should promote the truth, not simply fight against heresy.  He makes an important point that if some voices in our culture had their way all points of view, all agendas could find a place in the public square except those derived through religious faith.  Many major social movements in American history, from the abolition of slavery, to the labor movement to the fight for civil rights in the 1950's and '60's were championed, if not led, by people of faith.
